February is American Heart Month. According to the American Heart Association, “Cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, are our nation's No. 1 killer.” The month of February is dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and increasing knowledge about prevention. Thousands of volunteers from the American Heart Association will help raise funds for research and education and pass along information about heart disease and stroke.
