Help Your Advertisers Sell More Through a Holiday Shopping Guide

With all the hustle and bustle during the holidays, shoppers have a variety of seasonal needs that arise. A shopping guide to show them where to find special holiday products and services can make their shopping experience easier. As you are talking to your regular advertisers, mention this holiday guide and offer for them to be one of the first (or the exclusive) of their business category to advertise.

These ideas can also be used with signature ads or small special sections as quick reference guides.
  • Special holiday shopping hours of various major shopping areas or malls.
  • Where to buy fresh cut or cut-your-own Christmas trees and other greenery.
  • Bus and tour companies that offer out-of-town shopping excursions.
  • List of businesses that offer free gift wrapping.
  • Retail stores that will ship the purchase for you.
  • Stores that offer gift card specials, Example: “Buy one, get one half off”, “Buy $25, and get $50 credit”.
  • Food guide: Holiday catering, bakeries, candy stores.
  • Holiday gift baskets.
  • Santa page: Where to get their pictures with Santa Claus, “Rent-a-Santa” service, santa suits for rent or purchase.
