November 23-29 is National Family Week. “70 percent of employed mothers and fathers feel that they do not have enough time to spend with their children,” according to a national survey of the changing workforce in the United States. National Family Week is designed to strengthen and serve children, families, and communities. Businesses can use this week to their advantage by promoting their family-orientated activities and services.
Ad/Promotion Ideas:
• Create a local “Family of the Year” award. Allow readers to nominate and vote for families in the community they feel are extraordinary. As a follow up, you could feature the winners in a print/online interview.
