Give your advertisers some “credit” in March!
Credit is an important and powerful part of American’s financial freedom. From the time young adults enter college, they have started a credit history that will follow them throughout their lifetime. Credit scores are used now more than ever to gauge an individual’s financial credit stability when it comes to loans, insurance rates, even renting situations and employment opportunities. Help local businesses educate and advertise to consumers as to the benefits of good credit scores and how they relate to any financial-related business they may need to conduct.

  • Create a signature ad for lenders, banks, law firms, insurance companies and financial planning institutions.

Ad Ideas for March: Sleep

Get some “zzzzzzzs” during National Sleep Awareness Week

It’s a consensus. The majority of American adults don’t get the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep a night. And at least 40 million Americans suffer from some sort of sleep disorder, including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy.

The National Sleep Foundation is waking up the public with an annual public education and awareness campaign March 7–13, 2011, to promote the benefits—both to our mental and physical health—of a good night’s sleep. They offer these tips:
  • Maintain a regular schedule for sleep and wake times.
  • Establish a regular bedtime routine.
  • Create a dark, comfortable and quiet sleeping environment.
  • Use your bedroom only for sleep.
  • Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillow.
  • Finish eating at least two to three hours before bedtime.
  • Exercise regularly.
  • Avoid caffeine, nicotine and alcohol close to bedtime.

  • Create a signature ad featuring related businesses and physicians specializing in sleep disorders and therapies.
  • Create a special section outlining sleep tips, fun facts about sleep and common misconceptions.
